Thank you card & a stitchy progress photo

No matter how frustrating work has been, I consider it to have been a good day when I can get both some stitching and some scrapbooking done. Oh happy day!

So here's a thank you card I made for the Websters Pages monthly challenge:

And here's four days worth of work on "The North Wind". I'm stitching it on 32 count Blue Dynasty linen. It's going pretty fast, and I'm not quite ready to put it down and pick up the ornaments that I really need to finish as quickly as possible to give to some of my friends. Sigh! I think I'm going to allow myself to continue working on this one til Friday, then back to the ornies!

And finally, I thought I'd wrap up with a photo of the fabulous stash enhancement my mom gave me for Christmas; four new patterns and three different Weeks hand dyed felts. So yummy!

I know the feeling! I cross-stitch as well as scrapbook and some days it's a battle over which one gets more time! :)

You have way more patience than me with the stitching - I love the little robin. My mother did beautiful stitching before the arthritis got to her hands, I am so lucky both my girls got the most beautiful flower fairy "paintings' stitched by her - and they are huge - it took her hours/days/weeks/months!
